We grant you a non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable, worldwide, non-transferable licence to use our Site in accordance with these Terms. All other uses are prohibited without our prior written consent. By using our Website, you agree to:

  • Refrain from using the Website for any unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, fraudulent, or obscene purposes.

We have taken proper and due care to ensure that the information provided on this website is accurate and correct. However, we cannot guarantee, nor do we accept any legal liability arising from or connected to, the accuracy, reliability, currency or completeness of anything contained on this website or on any linked site. The information contained on this website is general in nature, and should not take the place of personal professional treatment or advice.

  1. Information Collection and Confidentiality (including Limitations)
Use of information you have provided us with, or that we have collected and retained relating to your use of the Website and/or our Services, is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using this Website and the Services associated with this Website, you are agreeing to the Privacy Policy. We are committed to maintaining your privacy and confidentiality. All personal information you give us will be dealt with in a confidential manner in accordance with our Privacy Policy. However, due to circumstances outside of our control, we cannot guarantee that all aspects of your use of this Website will be confidential due to the potential ability of third parties to intercept and access such information.  There are also specific situations which may require us to disclose information without your consent, including:
  • If there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.
  • If disclosure is mandated by law.
  • If there is suspected abuse or neglect of a vulnerable individual.
  1. Booking Fees and Cancellation Policy
Session fees for all services provided are clearly displayed on the booking page and include GST. When booking your appointment, your credit/debit card will be charged immediately to secure your session. Cancellation Policy:
  • More Than 48 Hours’ Notice: You may cancel or reschedule your appointment with no additional charge. For cancellations, a full refund will be provided.
  • Less Than 48 Hours’ Notice:
    • For cancellations or reschedules of a Discovery Call, a $30 fee will apply.
    • For in-clinic sessions, a $100 fee will be deducted from your prepaid session amount. The remaining balance can either be applied to a future appointment or refunded upon request.
Missed Appointments: If you do not attend your scheduled session without prior notice, the full session fee will be retained, and no refund will be issued. This includes Discovery Calls where two attempts were made to contact the provided phone number within 5 minutes of your booking time.
  1. Intellectual Property
All content on this Website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Insight Hypnotherapy and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of this content is prohibited. Unless otherwise indicated, we own or licence all rights, title and interest (including intellectual property rights) in our Site and all of the Content. Your use of our Site and your use of and access to any Content does not grant or transfer to you any rights, title or interest in relation to our Site or the Content. You must not:
  1. copy or use, in whole or in part, any Content;
  2. reproduce, retransmit, distribute, disseminate, sell, publish, broadcast or circulate any Content to any third party; or
  3. breach any intellectual property rights connected with our Site or the Content, including (without limitation) altering or modifying any of the Content, causing any of the Content to be framed or embedded in another website or platform, or creating derivative works from the Content.
  4. use our Site, or any of the Content for commercial purposes, including any advertising or advertising revenue generation activity on your own website or any other platform without obtaining a licence to do so from us.
  1. Online Commerce and Refund Policy
Certain sections of the Website or its Content may allow you to make purchases from us or from other merchants. If you make a purchase from us on or through our Website or its Content, all information obtained during your purchase or transaction and all of the information that you give as part of the transaction, such as your name, address, method of payment, credit card number, and billing information, may be collected by both us, the merchant, and our payment processing company. Your participation, correspondence or business dealings with any affiliate, individual or company found on or through our Website, all purchase terms, conditions, representations or warranties associated with payment, refunds, and/or delivery related to your purchase, are solely between you and the merchant. You agree that we shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, refunds, or other matters of any sort that incurred as the result of such dealings with a merchant.  We have no responsibility or liability for these independent policies of the payment processing companies and Merchants. In addition, when you make certain purchases through our Site or its Content, you may be subject to the additional terms and conditions of a payment processing company, Merchant or us that specifically apply to your purchase. For more information regarding a Merchant and its terms and conditions that may apply, visit that merchant’s Website and click on its information links or contact the Merchant directly.  You release us, our affiliates, our payment processing company, and merchants from any damages that you incur, and agree not to assert any claims against us or them, arising from your purchase through or use of our Website or its Content. You acknowledge that Insight Hypnotherapy does not offer refunds for any portion of payment for our products, services, or programs. All sales are final, and no refunds will be given for any reason.

Our Website may contain links to external sites for your convenience. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content or practices of these third-party websites. Access them at your own risk.
  1. Testimonials
Testimonials are examples of real experiences and opinions of people’s experiences with Insight Hypnotherapy and are on the Site for illustration only. All testimonials are displayed with permission and are of actual people and their results. Testimonials are not intended to guarantee current or future users the same or similar results.

If it is not possible to read down a provision (in whole or in part), that provision (or that part of that provision) is severed from these Terms without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder of that provision or the other provisions in these Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Western Australia, Australia.

PRIVACY POLICY

Insight Hypnotherapy is committed to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information. 

We have adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act). The NPPs govern the way in which we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your Personal Information.

What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?

Personal Information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. Examples of Personal Information we collect include names, addresses, email addresses, phone and facsimile numbers. 

This Personal Information is obtained in many ways including correspondence by telephone, by facsimile, by email, via our website www.insighthypnotherapy.com.au and from third parties. We don’t guarantee website links or policy of authorised third parties. 

We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to our clients and marketing. We may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. You may unsubscribe from our mailing lists at any time by contacting us in writing. When we collect Personal Information, we will, where appropriate and where possible, explain to you why we are collecting the information and how we plan to use it. 

Sensitive Information

Sensitive information is defined in the Privacy Act to include information or opinion about such things as an individual's racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of a trade union or other professional body, criminal record or health information.

  • For a secondary purpose that is directly related to the primary purpose

Where reasonable and practicable to do so, we will collect your Personal Information only from you. However, in some circumstances we may be provided with information by third parties (e.g. your referring doctor). In such a case we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are made aware of the information provided to us by the third party.

Your Personal Information may be disclosed in a number of circumstances including the following: 

  • Third parties where you consent to the use or disclosure; and 
  • Where required or authorised by law. 

Security of Personal Information

Your Personal Information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. When your Personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your Personal Information. However, most of the Personal Information is or will be stored in client files, which will be kept by us for a minimum of 7 years. 

Access to your Personal Information

You may access the Personal Information we hold about you and to update and/or correct it, subject to certain exceptions. If you wish to access your Personal Information, please contact us in writing. Insight Hypnotherapy will not charge any fee for your access request but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information. To protect your Personal Information, we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information. 

Maintaining the Quality of your Personal Information

It is important to us that your Personal Information is up to date. We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up to date. If you find that the information we have is not up to date or is inaccurate, please advise us as soon as practicable so we can update our records and ensure we can continue to provide quality services to you.
